Unfortunately, at the moment, our storage facilities are at capacity, so we’re unable to accept your generous donations. While we regret that we can’t take your donation right now, please know how much we appreciate your thoughtfulness and support of our mission.


Before you donate…

If you are interested in donating furniture, household goods, and electrical appliances, please make sure you understand what we can and cannot accept. Once you have organised the donation with RizeUp, where possible please place items under cover outside for ease of collection.

Items we accepT

We’re happy to accept furniture and household goods in quality condition with no functional defects, such as:

Bedroom

  • Beds in single and queen size (sorry no mattresses)
  • New and packaged linen and manchester
  • Bedside cabinets and drawers

Bathroom

  • New and packaged towels and bath mats
  • Unopened soap, cosmetics and sanitary items

Laundry

  • Unopened cleaning products and detergents

Kitchen

  • New small electrical appliances
  • Unopened pantry goods
  • New and packaged cutlery, crockery, glassware or pans

Homewares

  • Televisions under 42" and with stands only and television units
  • Eyelet curtains and other decor items
  • Lounge suites, dining tables and chairs
  • Coffee tables

Items we do not accept

While we appreciate your interest in donating household goods, there are a few items that we can not accept for safety reasons, such as:

Specialist Items

  • Items that need installation such as dishwashers, ovens, and cooktops
  • Items that require mounting or permanent fixtures
  • Mattresses

Hazardous Items

  • Secondhand small electrical appliances including kettles, toasters and microwaves
  • Glass-topped furniture and sofa beds

Large Heavy Appliances

  • Fridges and freezers
  • Washing machines and dryers

Alcohol and Related Items

  • Any alcohol-related items, including wine glasses, beer glasses, cocktail glasses and wine racks

Weapon-Related Items

  • Any weapon-related children's toys such as fake guns, water guns, nerf guns or fake knives

Perishable Items Beyond Expiry Date

  • Open food items or perishable items beyond their expiry date such as open or expired food items, open makeup or body creams.

Damaged Items

  • Broken, chipped or incomplete sets of goods such as crocery or cutlery

Clothing and Baby-related Items

Sadly due to lack of available storage space we are unable to accept donations of clothing unless we have specifically requested it.

Baby items can be donated directly to Baby Give Back who supply us with baby-related items when needed.
